MAS PORTELL is a superior quality vinegar that comes from the home of the best sherry, in Jerez, Spain. Jerez is one of the oldest Spanish wine producing areas. From the same Palomino grapes, its fermented juice is soured and aged using the traditional method of "soleras & criaderas", a blending process which gives the vinegar its style and consistency. The traditional method takes its name from the barrels closest to the floor from which the final blend is taken. MAS PORTELL Sherry Vinegar is aged for 50 years in barrels made from American oak and its acidity is 8%
The "Denomination of Origin" from the Jerez region in the South of Spain, guarantees the quality and origin of PONS Sherry Vinegar. From Palomino grapes, typical of Cádiz, is exclusively elaborated from the first must. Pons Sherry Vinegar is aged for eight years in American oak wooden barrels, steered to the southeast to provide exposure to the sea breeze which is necessary for oxygenation. Its delicate and fine aroma, and its excellent taste make this product unique and for which there is no substitute.
